In spite of everything you can find forgiveness of sin, peace and joy in knowing
Jesus Christ as Lord
In Romans 3: 21 NLT God's Word Tells Us That Christ Took Our Punishment For Sin
V. 21 But now God has shown us a different way of being right in His
sight--not by obeying the law but by the way promised in Scriptures
long ago.
V. 22 We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus
Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same
way, no matter who we are or what we have done.
V.23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard.
V.24 Yet now God in His gracious kindness declares us not guilty.
He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking
away our sins.
V.25 For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to
satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when
we believe that Jesus shed His blood, sacrificing His life for us. God was being entirely fair and just
when He did not punish those who sinned in former times ( because they believed by faith ).
V.26 And He is entirely fair and just in this present time when He declares sinners to be right in His
sight because they believe ( by faith ) in Jesus
V.27 Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our
acquittal is not based on our good deeds. It is based on our faith.
V.28 So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law....
V.30 There is only one God, and there is only one way of being accepted by Him. He makes people
right with Himself only by faith.
Romans 5:8 NLT, V.8, " But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while
we were still sinners.
V.9 And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, He will certainly save
us from God's judgement.
V.10 For since we were restored to friendship with God by the death of His son while we were still
His enemies, we will certainly be delivered from eternal punishment by His life.
V.11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God--all because of what our
Lord Jesus Christ has done for us in making us friends of God.

Over the years I have seen the
phrase " Jesus Saves " on fence
post signs, on the sign of barns
while traveling down the road, on
T-Shirts. The phrase has become
so familiar that it seems to hold no
real meaning.
But, one day as a young boy I
realized the meaning of " Jesus
Saves " to be real. I did realize that I
was a sinner ( Romans 3:23 ) and
that I needed forgiveness of sin. So,
I placed my trust in Jesus Christ,
God's Son ( John 3:16 ). I placed my
trust in Him and asked by faith for
Jesus Christ to forgive me of my
sins and to come into my life and
save me and He did. He gave me a
new life and I live knowing that I
have eternal life and I know that my
destiny doesn't end here on this
earth, but it will continue into eternity
with my creator, God in heaven.
